The self-tan reset

Lift the old.Start fresh.

Two halves of one ritual. A skin-safe sponge that gently lifts old, faded, or patchy self-tan — and, soon, the tanner to begin again. For daily self-tanners who want a clean slate, the easy way.

Where the name came from

One day, mid-routine, my daughter looked at me and asked why I wanted to be tan — like her. “Because you’re my tan twin,” I told her. The name was already there.

She’s naturally golden. I’m the one chasing it in a bottle. That small moment became the whole idea behind the brand — a warm, honest kind of tan, and the ritual to keep it looking that way.

Because here’s the truth every self-tanner knows: the color fades unevenly. Patches linger. You reapply over the old, and it builds up muddy instead of fresh. A real reset was the missing step.

So TanTwin was built around both halves — a sponge that lifts old tan cleanly, and a tanner on the way to begin again. Two products, one ritual. A true blank canvas, every time.

Why it works

Removal from chemistry, not scrubbing

The idea came the hard way. Like a lot of people, I once reached for a “magic eraser” to get old tan off — it worked, but it left my skin raw. So I built the tool it should have been: all of the lift, none of the burn.

01

Lift, don’t scrub

Gentle exfoliating actives loosen old, DHA-stained cells so the color releases — instead of sanding it off your skin.

02

Glide, not friction

Conditioning oils let the sponge slide. That glide is the whole difference between a clean reset and a raw patch.

03

Made to be kind

Designed for legs, arms, and everywhere in between — skin-safe, patch-test first, gentle enough for regular use.

The ritual

A reset that asks almost nothing of you

Effortless by design. Three gentle steps, a few minutes, and you’re back to a fresh canvas — no scrubbing marathon required.

i.

Dampen

Wet the sponge and your skin. A little water is all it takes to wake the surface up.

ii.

Glide

Sweep gently over the areas you want to reset. Light, even passes — let the sponge do the work, not your arm.

iii.

Rinse

Rinse clean and pat dry. Your canvas is fresh, ready for whatever comes next.

Always patch-test first, and keep each pass light — gentle and steady beats hard and fast, every time.

Founder of TanTwin
Hi, I’m the founder

Paramedic · Lover of all things flawless

By day, I’m a paramedic — my world is safety, prevention, and doing things the right way, not the fast way.

Off the clock, I love things done beautifully. Makeup, tan, nails — the polished, put-together details that make you feel like yourself. But I got tired of fighting old, patchy color, and I learned the hard way that harsh removal isn’t the answer. So I made something better.

That’s TanTwin: products that actually perform, made carefully, from someone who uses them every day and refuses to cut corners on either the results or your skin. The brand I always wanted as a customer — effective, elegant, and honest.
